Restaurants

In order to make your visit to Sulphur Mountain more enjoyable, we have provided several amenities. The Summit Complex located at the top of the mountain houses two restaurants, a gift shop, a snack bar, and public washrooms. At the base, a snack shop and gift shop provides a great selection of food and souvenirs for your convenience.

One thing we have noticed: when people arrive at the summit of the mountain, they are usually hungry! We don't know if its the fresh mountain air or the altitude, but we thought we'd help out with that hunger by constructing two restaurants in the summit complex atop Sulphur Mountain.

The Summit Restaurant is a self-serve cafeteria-style restaurant, which seats up to 160 guests and offers a magnificent view of Banff and the Bow Valley. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available without a reservation. The Summit Restaurant operates on the same schedule as the Gondola, which is available here.

The Panorama Room, newly opened in 1996, is located one level above the Summit Restaurant and seats up to 200 visitors. Meals are served buffet style and reservations are not required. Seating in the atrium area offers guests a breathtaking view of the Canadian Rockies. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily throughout the summer months from June to September.
